I’m looking for fast acting, but not long lasting, laxative recommendations for the UK.

Let me know what works best!

I like to use castor oil. I mix a whole bottle with orange juice. Its fast acting and gives you urgent explosive diarrhea.

Fleet (aka Cleen) Enemas – pluses: results in 10 mins, expect more results later – whats: don’t use frequently as risk of anal irritation, piles etc (other rarer side-effects esp. if you have liver/kidney issues)

Bisacodyl (e.g dulcolax) Suppositories – pluses: results in 10-30 mins – whats: don’t use frequently for long periods as risk of anal irritation, piles etc (other rarer side-effects)

Glycerin Suppositories – pluses: results in 10-30 mins, “so mild you can “doo yourself” as often as you want” – whats: not a proper laxative so won’t clear out lots of shit
