I’ve been away from video chat for a while. Back in August, my cam space got taken over by a new gaming PC I’d built. Finding another spot to cam from is a little tricky in my house.
My Mac was my primary video chat platform. I was using a Logitech Broadcaster Webcam, a Mac-only WiFi webcam that had great image quality but got a bit flaky over time. Logitech has now discontinued software support for the Broadcaster, and it does not work at all under macOS Catalina. So, no cam… But I have now invested in a new, better webcam: the Logitech C922 Pro. It’s super cool, and comes with built-in streaming tools (esp. Chroma-key). Best of all, I can use it on both Mac and Windows.
