Sugar free candy. Doesn’t matter what kind just something with some type of sugar alcohol as the sweetener (the name is weird, it’s not a sugar or an alcohol but they call them sugar alcohols for some reason). You’ll have to experiment with how much to eat, but 1 bag of sugar free gummy bears is a good place to start.
Foods rich in sugar alcohols (polyols) work well, for a time. However, you will eventually develop a tolerance. You can use osmolax (Macrogol) for the same effect.
The term sugar alcohol is actually quite correct. An alcohol is any compound that contains at least one functional hydroxyl (OH) group bound to a saturated carbon. Sugar alcohols are simply sugars that have had their aldehyde (CHO) group replaced by a primary alcohol (CH2OH).
